The GoJet DL contract was for 5 years beginning in 2012.
As for their 6 CRJ-900s, they called Delta and begged them to let them operate them. They were acquired from a carrier in Europe and Delta does not control those airplanes.

Nope, the union should have taken the deal when they had it. I would expect to hear something shortly after the final SSP list has been sent to Delta. They are already 2 years out with pilots going to Delta, so they have plenty of time to decide what to do with your group. It would be nice to know for planning sake though.
Yeah, I'm real glad they bothered to ask us what we thought about that deal. Kinda a shame that they say they haven't forgotten about us when they said it was going to happen when I got hired. Not too happy to be lied to.

The company didn't lie. There was an offer and the union reps voted no. I called mine and he said that he wouldn't vote for it because "We want a better deal for our pilots. The two years required as captain is unreasonable since we don't know how long upgrade times will be. Delta will come back with a better offer." I wasn't very happy, and Delta didn't come back with another offer and I'm now in the same boat as you.

Relax guys. Once the current ssp is done, a new process will exist that isn't tied to a deal signed years ago in bankruptcy. It'll be 2 years before anyone would be leaving on any post-ssp deal, which isn't long considering that's for new hires to a major. Think big picture. Look at the changes in the last 12 months, very different workplace for the positive.

I'm in the same boat and glad they voted no. No reason to whipsaw a deal that quickly when we don't know what the next couple years will bring.

I get that there's agreements and all but when they tell me there's going to be "either a flow or guaranteed interview" by the end of the (last) summer and there still isn't anything a year later, you can tell me all day that you are "thinking" about it, but in the end it doesn't mean ****. A lie is a lie.
