Sounds good. Thanks guys. Didn't get the notifications you all had replied again. I'm currently 135 and I will start training shortly at Endeavor.

Ha, I had to do this exact thing this last weekend. No positive space to a wedding, only home address.

Oh absolutely, and you did it quite well. I was just trying to clarify he is soon to be in training, hence the question about 9E positive spacing him. Sadly, no bueno for him.

There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 flights a day to ORD - Chicago commuters might have something else to say about it but I'm pretty sure he won't have problems unless there is a major winter storm blowing through.

Thanks for the replies, I've been leaning toward DTW since I have some family there just wasn't sure how difficult it would be find a seat on a consistent basis.

Hello everyone! I just finished training sunday morning and I start OE next week. I am very excited about it and I am still amazed that this is all happening. I just wanted to say that I was extremely impressed with everyone that I came into contact with at the training department. Everyone was incredibly professional and helpful. They truly want everyone to succeed and they are extremely fair. However that does not mean that it wasn't easy, but it is well worth it all. If anybody has questions in regards to training and the new AQP let me know I would be glad to help. I believe that our class was first to go through the entire AQP program and it's great.

Hey, I'm former 135 as well. If you have any questions about non-rev, jumpseat, or security feel free to shoot me a PM.

Couldn't agree more! I hear guys get all butt hurt about how it's not fair that Delta didn't hire them but I think they're missing the lesson. Some will acknowledge legitimate failings on their part, to their credit. But some of the loudest detractors are the ones who felt entittled to the job. The past is the past. That's just not how this works.

It's not hard, I made it through the holiday season without any issues. I've always gotten a seat in the back on American and they even moved me up to First Class once. The only time I had to ride up front was on Delta. You'll quickly find out that DL overbooks just about every flight, either that or it's full of mainline employees and retirees. I would also choose DTW if you have family there. Save yourself the money on a Crashpad or Hotels.

Same experience here. I use AA as my #2 option through DFW when a nonstop doesn't work or just isn't convenient. I commuted up on New Year's Eve night and 5 of us nonrevs all got first class on AA.

The bad thing about holiday travel isn't the loads as much as the reduced schedule on the 24th/25th and 31st/1st. It's best to time it so either you work through the holidays and go to and from in between.

Actually I got spoiled in December as I ended up getting first class about 90% of the time between commuting and deadheads. Its generally quiet between Thanksgiving and around the 20th of December.
