We’re short and so is Delta! I’d say that’s a good comparison.. Most if not all of the airlines are having the same issue.. So your schedule isn't what you wanted! Suck it up Butter Cup!!

Its not the amount of schedule changes and you know it. I remember 10-15 schedule changes at Endeavor and sometimes ending up with a better trip than when I started. Cancels. Live turned into dh. Etc. Usually it made it suck worse. But Delta can make a trip as bad with one schedule change as Endeavor can do when 5. They're way better at screwing up a trip so they don't need as many attempts! And at $91 on first year pay with no min day and a 74 hour alv for the month, you'll be very impressed at how a day can suck. I think in 6 years at 9E I times out twice. I've almost done it at least 4 times this summer alone. You're not gonna work less here....

The net gain is OBVIOUSLY better at Delta. But to make the assertion that it's 100% better in all areas unequivocally (as some do) is stretching.

OK. But how many days off are you getting? THAT is the kicker. I don’t care what I get at work. But when I only get 11 days off every month, yeah… nope.

Yea , I’m rooting hard for Delta pilots to get a good , new contract with retro pay , etc . But I’m not ready to get the violin out if trying to compare mainline life to 9E life . That would fall under the “C’MON MAN” mantra from ESPN 😂. Actually the attrition Dilemma at 9E will probably help mainline negotiations to speed along regarding section 6 cause if Delta doesn’t want to do seniority/Longevity they will throw more money at 9E I’m assuming but they couldn’t or I should say won’t do that until mainline section 6 is wrapped up .

Sounded to me like Delta isn't really interested in fixing the problems at 9E, and it's willing to see us sink by as much as 30%...

Oh it's definitely more. 14 days this month in my category. I didn't say it wasn't a vastly superior place to work. It is. I'm just saying it's not the schedule change free utopia people assume it is. I remember all the time flying with guys at 9E who would go, "I can't wait to get to Delta so I won't get yanked around like this" it's a monumental improvement here but it's not perfect. I never once got extended into a day off at Endeavor and it's happened here already. There's certainly areas for improvement

Probably not. They also probably don't say "Hampton Inn" on the outside.
