What are you talking about? Trans States Airlines and Compass ceased operations quite a while ago

Trans States Airlines is out of business.

Trans States Holdings owns GoJet and is not out of business.

Can we move on now?

Indeed. The airline shell company that owned nothing is no longer operating. The evil holding company that owned several airlines, and continues to own one, is still operating…betting that’s the one that was being referenced

A total of 68 pilots submitted resignations effective for the month of December. This included 48 Captains (23 Flows & 13 ‘off-the-street’ to Delta) as well as 20 First Officers (5 ‘off-the-street to Delta). This is not sustainable for any length of time. Going to be interesting to see what they are going to do.

Used 900s, go single fleet, gain some efficiency benefits from being all one type.

If we want to play, what’s old is new again, any bets on AWAC coming to the rescue for some 200 flying?

We’re hiring 70 a month with a goal of 100 a month. We have a flow to Delta. I don’t think it will be overly difficult to keep up the hiring. Also, they get rid of the highest paid pilots and bring in low paid ones. Sounds like it’s kinda working for them.

Until the bottleneck in training and a lack of CAs hits.
