Sorry i’m asking this question from the point of view of a junior fo so feel free to correct me if i’m wrong. Doesn’t that mean more attrition which leads to less pilots at EDV which means more flying assigned for each pilot ? Wouldn’t that make trips more efficient ? Or is it the nature of flying that EDV does (mostly short legs) that would make it harder for the trips to be more efficient?
The scheduling is very inefficient. Lots of days worked with few hour per day. It's common to see just two legs a day blocking less than min day (4 hrs pay). I don't know why they don't improve efficiency. We also get a fair amount of 10-12 hour duty days that are only 4 hours of credit.

Sounds like negotiations broke down. We went from wanting to have an agreement this week to "we will further evaluate internally."
There really is no good reason for a new hire to come here. There also is no reason to stay here unless you are within a couple months of flow.

This isn't Envoy. Six months ago, no one would be griping about the "soon to flow union guys" representing us.

Haha fair enough. Got to gripe about something for the next 4 years. But I would appreciate some more transparency. Especially with an open ended timeline like "soon"
Negotiations haven't stalled they're just taking more time to get the right deal for the pilot group. Since they are still on they're bound by NDA and can't share much as far as details of the current negotiations.
