where are you people getting that 9E has to park 35 aircraft or Delta pilots are flowing down to 9E? If enforced it says park 35 - 76 seat RJ. That could be any combination between the 3 DCI companies or think like Delta Management and just remove 1 or more seats from 35 aircraft....problem solved.

i think regional pilots invented FAKE NEWS!

For the same reason AA did it. If it makes sense for their bottom line. I can't think of a reason why we would get it now.

Sorry I hurt your feelings snowflake but why would we negotiate giving our jobs up? So that maybe one day we may be graced with the chance to flow up! Look at the new reality we are in. Everyone is walking around with masks on or trapped in our homes and this isn’t going to change soon enough and if you look at the last two major setbacks for the airline industry you will see they didn’t end up very well and this ones looking like it’s probably going to be bigger.

This. Those aircraft don't all have to come from 9E.

Also, if DL doesn't come back as big as it was, then those planes might not matter anyway.

I am a bit confused on your last statement. Delta can’t just take a seat out of 35 airplanes and call it good. The language in the PWA says 35 aircraft not 35 seats so when things start to recover unless Delta get’s a flow down they will be out 35 large RJs. I also agree with you that the planes don’t have to come from EDV and it’s way to early to even say where these come from if they will even be needed by then.

I don't always agree with mesabah, but when I do it's uncomfortable.....

Jk. But yea I'm kinda torn on this. On the one hand, that would screw a good number of guys at the bottom and bump me so far back into the right seat I'd have to sell my bars on eBay.

But at the same time, looking long term, what can we get out of it that protects our jobs and gives us something to look forward to. Idk...

I agree not all the aircraft have to come from 9E. They can’t take 1 seat out of 35 aircraft and call it good. Delta has scope on the number of 50 seat, 51-70 seat, and 71-76 seat aircraft. All of those, except maybe 50 seaters, are scoped out. The only options for Delta are try to negotiate to get rid of the flow down LOA, remove the aircraft, or negotiate a flow down with a regional partner.

Scope, like anything else at the moment should be negotiable. Delta and Endeavor should be looking at what is best for the whole business and nothing should be off the table.

As of today, this is what we know about the May schedule:

· There is a 50% reduction in block hours versus plan in the May schedule.

· Low aircraft utilization in the May schedule.

o Two-class ~6.9 hours per day versus 10.8 hours per day in March 2020

o Single class ~ 5.0 hours per day versus 9.7 hours per day in March 2020

· The majority of line-holders will be awarded at or near minimum days off.

· There will be a reduction in flight frequency to existing markets, making long sits at outstations common.

· There will be a significant rise in deadheads (air and ground) to get crew members in position.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but does this make any sense!
