Yes EDV MEC would have to agree to it. As with the case with the Compass flow down, I would suspect the same language of a furloughed Delta pilot would go to the top of the seniority list. I highly doubt the MEC would agree to this even with a flow up, because a flow down would cause hundreds of EDV pilots to get furloughed.

[QUOTE=Mesabah;3026451]I already talked about it in a previous post, it would be in our best interest to make sure those furloughed Delta pilots end up here.[/QUOTE
Easy for you to say looking at it from where your sitting on the seniority list. I’m 40% and I’d rather see the the MEC tell them to pound sand rather then take up a flow back. Unless it meant zero furloughs at 9E and bringing more airframes to 9E to ensure that doesn’t happen.

I'm in the top 20% and would rather tell Delta to pound sand, then to allow them to flow down here. Terrible idea.

I’m in the bottom 6% and would be willing to give up my seat if it meant a DL seniority number that matches my DOH at EDV. I also recognize that the 5-20yr veteran would not want to be displaced or bumped down by any DL flowback.
I really wasn’t a “hard chargin” Progression for all type, but if there was ever a time, this is it.
Also remember in business negotiations it’s always about leverage. It’s not personal, it’s business. So if you feel the time is inappropriate, it’s really not. Because the other side of the table will always use their tools to the fullest extent possible.

They are taking the planes anyway, the choices are those pilots come here, or Delta starts up a new wholly owned regional. If our silly pilots at Mesaba had agreed to a proper flow down, we would all be Delta captains right now. Instead NWA started Compass, and look how that went horribly wrong.

Do any of the AA wholly owns have flow back? Compass and their flow/flow back made sense. Their pilots had the ability to go to NW. We do not DL pilots anything, since we never had a flow up. And putting 90% of our pilots on the street for a flow up in 2-3 years (which they could probably eliminate in CH11) makes zero sense. We do not owe DL anything, and need to look after our own first.
