Your proposed plan would involve a staple in addition to a fence.
I’m pretty sure DL and DALPA could reach a loa lowering CR9 pay at mainline to keep from furloughing DL pilots. Guess what would happen to 9e. Not a staple

True in your scenario but they post I quoted mentioned a fence which would happen if a staple were involved. It’s hard to tell which scenario he/she is referencing.

Latest news coming from Delta ALPA is that Delta guys in the event of a furlough will be offered a flow back to Endeavor or 35 of our 76 aircraft have to be parked. This was an agreement that they had with Compass but Delta ALPA is now saying that Endeavor has to honor the policy as it is written in there contract that a Delta wholly owned will take flowback of furloughed Delta pilots. Anyone have anymore on this? I’d rather see the place close down then give up my seat to someone that moved on from Skypest to Delta and then gets kicked back to 9E.

I'm all for allowing furloughed DL pilots to come to Endeavor. If they interview and are sent to the bottom of the seniority list.

I haven’t seen the writing but as it was told to
me from an LEC member it would be in the top bumping out the bottom.

How does this flow down work? Does our MEC have to agree to it? I'm guessing our MEC will request a flow up or its a no go.
If DL pilots do flow down, do they flow as a CA or FO's?

That's not at all what the email said. It states since Compass is no longer around and Delta pilot's can't flow down to Compass, Delta has 2 options:

1) Set up another flow down provision with another DCI carrier (Does not have to be EDV)
2) Reduce the DCI fleet by 35 76 seat jets.

Obviously right now this does not matter since there are over 100 DCI planes parked but who knows what the future on this would be.

Yes EDV MEC would have to agree to it. As with the case with the Compass flow down, I would suspect the same language of a furloughed Delta pilot would go to the top of the seniority list. I highly doubt the MEC would agree to this even with a flow up, because a flow down would cause hundreds of EDV pilots to get furloughed.
