It also could have been a ruse by Delta to assist Skywest into lowering their costs to Delta to retain the flying - c'est la vie the whipsaw alive and well!

That's exactly what I was thinking. OO flying increased in this new schedule by almost as much as ours decreased.

Edit: it also cuts our schedule at least 40% from the update that they put out four days ago.
On a positive note, no SHV overnights next month.

Depending on your seniority you might not have overnights anywhere at the rate it’s going.

I don't see any CM7 for 9E whatsoever. OO still shows a few CM7 operating in the SLC/SEA footprint, probably just to maintain ASE flights.

They already closed the base, 200 pilots on PTO.

They made an announcement, they scheduled a bunch of people to sit at home. They haven’t actually done anything, are you implying that they cannot rescind the steps taken already?

So if this stimulus bill passes it states that furloughs are not allowed through the end of September if a company accepts the government funds. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in regionals and especially wholly owned regionals.

SLC is for Aspen. SEA is to cover Compass flights.. OO was going to lease Delta (20) CRJ 200 engines... not sure if Delta will want them now..(cost cut). so maybe the reason in the shift in OO doing more 200’s all of a sudden...
