Agreed he's not the type, but here's my guess.

How is an MSP base looking for new hires lately?

Anything is possible. Depends on your seniority in class. MSP is senior, NY bases are junior, DTW is somewhere in between. MSP & DTW have both the 200 & 900, LGA & JFK only have the 900. Movement is going to be faster on the 200 this year due to pulling them out of the desert. Reserve is projected to be ~6 months, but most likely less as more 200s are put into service (for that airframe).

Hi, if anyone has recently taken the 200 to 900 transition course? Could you PM me? Just had a few questions about the oral/check ride. Thanks!

I'm an 07 hire and am upgrading. 105 FO's account for SIX YEARS WORTH OF SENIORITY!!! That's only about three vacancies worth! I'm not making any predictions but it just confirms that saying our upgrade time is 8 years is incongruous. Hiring and attrition have not been linear in the least. Far from it. A better data point would be the percentile of the most junior captain and the rate at which someone in that range improves percentile rank.
I'm also not sure if the upgrades from 15-06 that haven't gone through upgrade are all incorporated in that seniority list as CA or FO. There may be less FO's in reality.

Default Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

When should one expect an email with travel info and such for training? Like how soon prior to training?

No. I got an offer and I had no 141 training

This is a blind crack at this question. He may have meant it that they like 141 because if you can get the R-ATP you can get hired well less time. As far as 61 vs 141 quality of training...I have to disagree with anyone saying one is better than the other. You can have outstanding instructors 61 and crappy pilot mill 141 instructors. It doesn't make a difference what reg your training follows

FWIW I was listed as CA even though I have not completed training.
