You're exactly right. It can happen to any of us. Yet another reason to always fly as close as possible to SOP. Hopefully the potential accidents can be trapped by that. If things go wrong and you flew by the book, at least you'll have an easier time defending yourself.

I'll wait for the asap report before commenting. I hate BUF though. "Braking action reported GOOD." SMH yea I'm sure it is.......

Also, when the wind is reported 230/15, but the METAR says 26018G40KT 230V310 while they're trying to vector you to final inside KLUMP...
