Whatever happened to mpet?
He was banned last I checked. I think he tried to light a Compass employee on fire at the C Tower.

Mpet must have tried to kidnap the wrong FO in Kew Gardens.

I've started carrying extra mic windsocks. 300k a year, and captains can't afford a sock.

Well, when you hang out in C all day, you get a little... OOfff

As for mpet, it was bound to happen. Was probably some 200 driver with a deferred APU on a 4 day and at wits end.

So with Major retirements growing and new aircraft would it be possible for EDV upgrade times to drop from 3-2ish years over the next two years? I’m trying to get a picture of how things look. And if anyone has any input on choosing between Skywest and EDV that would be very helpful. To me both are great choices so it makes it hard to chose.

If you are referring to Endeavor, there are fairly few retirements over the next several years from here. If you are referring to other airlines, yes there are a lot. But that only matters if our pilots are applying. I would say a good 50%+ of the CAs I fly with haven’t applied anywhere. They are content waiting for their opportunity for the DGI. The other half are actively trying to leave and go to basically any other major.

Getting upgrade times down to 2 years will largely depend on how successful our pilots are at leaving.

Unless you are gonna live in an OO base I'd pass. I wouldn't commute there for less money and no union protection. If they vote in alpa that would be a huge first step.
