No doubt there is going to be an exodus from the 200 to the 900. We have a ton of FOs on the 200 who will go to the 900 especially since in some cities like ATL the 900 is perhaps a more junior aircraft. Far more lines on it than the 200. Same with captains especially those hired in late 2016 who upgraded 12 months ago. Only a 12 month seat lock from when they upgraded with no seat lock incurred transitioning to the 900.

For outsiders this just means that the majority of new hires will be hired onto the 200. And for the majority of 2017 hires, expect to upgrade to the 200.

Awesome, so if 700s are coming in, there is a huge need to fill those seats. I guess NH will get a good mix of 2/7/900s?

200 is a separate fleet, 7/9 are one seniority list for us. I would expect a solid mix on average. Might a couple classes here and there that go all 9 or all 2. But it'll probably be pretty mixed across all the classes. But we don't know yet.

Thanks for the info... I’m a NH and can’t wait to find out what equipment base I’ll get assigned.... I won’t have problems with the 200s but 900 in NYC would be my sweet spot! I’m excited to start already, good times ahead
