We’re fat on pilots.

Default Eating Crow

If you put hot sauce on it it the taste of fecal matter isn’t that bad.

Good news all around. Gojet stays alive so those guys don’t lose too many jobs.

The one thing that surprises me is why they don’t order the 1000 model? The nine is fine but wouldn’t the 1000 be better?

I am also interested in what effect this will have on the 200.

No effect on the 200 for now. Long term remains to be seen. CRJ1000 is too heavy for scope and a different type rating (CL-66).

The CRJ-1000 is too heavy for the North American market because of scope clauses.

Something else interesting is I didn't think Bombardier was accepting new orders for the CRJs so 7 new planes must be coming from the order that was suppose to be given to Skywest.

Mitsubishi plans to continue building them for a unknown timeframe.

Might be why 6 of the compass airframes are going to Skywest?

Doesn't sound like that to me.

I imagine the 6 are going there for the sole purpose that Skywest has 30 airplanes operating in New York and Compass has 36 airplanes so the 6 will just be the current West coast flying and Republic takes 30 to replace the current 30 airplanes Skywest has in New York.
