Now back to our regularly scheduled Endeavor quest for knowledge... If you live in the SE (say FL/GA/AL/MS) area, and commute to DTW or MSP, can you please PM me? I would like to get more info on commuting to 9E bases from this region.

TIA!

You gotta narrow that down... That's like a quarter of the pilot group or more. Thinking more like ⅓.

I don't know the guy from MDT, but I know people who know him. 1. His screw up was in 2008. 2. They have all said, he entered the HIMS program, and changed his life.... I have no issue with someone making a mistake and learning from the process. He will have to live the rest of his life with that over his head, but I don't think he should be blackballed for the rest of his career because of it. With that said- I could understand why some would think he should have never been hired at DL.. I just personally think DL made the right decision.

The moron who urinated in the Delta parking lot after not making the cut, pi$$ed in the parking lot of the employer who many other endeavor pilots are trying to be hired by, and I would have to imagine the incident in no way affected other endeavor folks who interviewed after, it certainly did not make endeavor SSP look good.

I agree- enough about the few idiotic endeavor guys- 99.9% are great folks!

Awesome!! My inbox should be full in a little bit!

More specifically though, I am hearing it will be tough to commute thru ATL, which I will have to do. I am exploring the reality of just how awful it will be.

Just ask in the interview. Pilot in mine said he's from Atlanta and it didn't seem like an issue for him.

I've heard the same about the MDT guy. He legitimately had a pretty serious drinking problem and took care of it appropriately after the MDT craziness.

I had heard rumors about a guy peeing in the parking lot after busting the SSP, but didn't know it was legit... yikes! What a maroon....

Anyone commute from DFW to DTW or MSP? Also, how are healthcare costs at 9E? Just for the employee, no family costs. Looking to possibly change horses in the near future and doing homework on where I might land next. Be nice to still live in base here in DFW, but willing to commute or possibly move to new base if I have to.

Anyone know if it is possible to take Mil leave during the first year? You are on probation, so I am just wondering if that means you would have to forfeit your seniority number

You keep your seniority number. There is no penalty for taking military leave. They are really good about working around drill schedules and military obligations. I have not had any problems what so ever.
