I'm confused. You complain a while back about not flying because we're overstaffed and then say we're not ready for more planes? Were you here when we announced the xjt 900's coming over? I don't recall much operational disruption when taking those aircraft, except that they had a lot of deferrals initially (by or standards). But fly them now and they're fine. Some are older, need a little aileron trim, maybe the occasional fault reset, but I think our mx team has done a great job getting them up to par with the rest of the fleet. If memory serves, you're on the 200 which is admit I'm not familiar with, but the 900 fleet is in good shape. I think "this place" will be just fine with the additional aircraft. There will be a couple speed bumps as they get up to our standards I'm sure. We'll need more techs, which they will hire, and all will be good. You'll get your wish with more flying and faster upgrade times again. Try not to be the only person on her hoping that we DONT get more flying.

Default Didn’t say that

I DID NOT say I wasn’t hoping for the growth. You’re putting words in my mouth. I said we need to be careful what we wish for. I take your point casual I just disagree. Most know those aircraft that are coming have NOT been well looked after. Also, most know that crew scheduling is always on fire it seems. So thirty more aircraft and 400 more pilot’s, and F/A’s, is a big undertaking. They still don’t have an agreement with the F/A’s. I think they need an agreement before any major announcement. They need to be cautious and careful is all I am saying. One accident or major incident will be all it takes.

I've never felt any pressure to fly anything broken here.

Personally, I'd be shocked if the they have a TA by 2020 at this point, as both sides need to figure out where to start again and go from there, and that takes time.

CS will always be what it is, they can't staff the place every day for an IROP response. 30 airplanes happened in 2018 just fine, it will happen again if they need it to.

Most of me thinks you have no idea what you are talking about. Part of me thinks that you do but are so overcome by pessimism and unrealistic expectations that you wouldn't be happy no matter where you worked..

That's the same thing I thought when I read the post. If it's a hub MX is usually in the jetbridge waiting to come on before the agent even get the jetbridge to the airplane. I never felt pressured when we got the first batch of EV airplanes. If something is broken it won't fly until it's fixed or deferred.

Huh that's weird. I've been pressured to take airplanes that would have killed me if I didn't find issues with them that the MX team didnt fix.
