Embry-Riddle Dayton Beach is getting a space shuttle. They also have the Propel program. Can we put 2 and 2 together and assume it will have 50 seats and be based in LGA for that gate space? One can only hope.

The name is already painted on the side, so that should save some money.

Ok let’s be honest. It’s one of the dozen scenarios they apparently have. My best guess? Probably get some old a$$ comair 700s and or maybe get them and trade them out for some new atmosphere CRJs.

Or we just keep flying the “new” CA tails. This is hands down the most likely rumor.

Are not 22 GoJet 700s going to need a home in the next 2 years? Delta owns the note on the Gojet 700s right?

Sure but if they get replaced with new airframes then those old birds become beer cans, and the new bought planes go to whomever Delta decides.

But there is absolutely no word whatsoever about Delta and CRJ 550s. I don’t think Delta wants 50 seaters of any variety.

My guess for DCI “Plan of the Minute” is a two carrier strategy - OO and somebody else... I don’t know how they will get there or who owns what slots/gates, but I don’t think Delta wants to grow YX and put their money in the pockets of AA and UA.

Probably sell us to Hulas...

They probably wouldn't be 550s... they'd be 175SCs, and we know where those would go.

Delta does need three carriers, though. OO owns Atlanta gates, and YX owns LaGuardia slots. The third carrier needs to stick around to whipsaw the other two.
