Oh okay. I could have sworn that the memo was meant to say that DGI will not get what was written out on the company email regarding their time off for DGI interviews. In other words, halting preferential treatment to DGI candidates that wasn’t necessarily entitled to them; and that it would have to be cleared through a process. Maybe I did misread it then.

I think what the email is saying is that the company cannot pre-assign the days off because it subverts seniority and they don't want to make a contract provision to benefit a non-contractual program.

However, this is no way prevents a pilot from getting the days off necessary for the interview. I'm guessing the company will ask the pilots to bid for those days off and if they don't get them they will give them unpaid leave.

Got it. It’s finally coming together now. Sheesh. All those strange words are challenging my supposed graduate-level education, lol.

But yea I guess that makes sense about the days off...but for real if any 900 CA can’t get your time off for your DGI, message me and as long as I’m not working, I’ll take your trip so you can get to your interview.

Hahahaha John. You’ll probably never make that grammatic error again though. You’re welcome.

By the way, on the topic in which I most recently brought up, let’s congratulate Trans States on their recent FLOW agreement to Frontier. Don’t laugh at it though. Frontier pays crap but it’s a great short-term investment which comes with a globally valuable Airbus rating.

Never thought I’d say this but, congrats to Trans States.

And give frontier time. They will have Spirit-level contract soon I’m sure.

The Gods and Goddesses at Delta will soon be watching their own subsidiary’s pilots seek employment at other companies.
