The company told everyone to leave if they could. They gave us free interview coaching and resume prep. And there was no money, captains were being furloughed and given ca wages to sit in the right seat while FOs were asked why were they still there, and the company still wasnt done. When Air Wisconsin told delta to FOAD and Delta couldn't get anyone to take the 200s they started writing 20m checks to us to fix the place, which is the only reason you are here.

The sky was falling, the company doesnt even defend pre 2015, and the two guy orchestrating the 2014 mess were moved out or fired. Even endeavor HR finally disavowed the ETD program Their complete strategic vision failed at every level. If Guum hadn't been waving his hands and planning for the turn around this would have been his third airline shut down.

As far as the guys that left dying to be back? 99% elected to not return, and our classes weren't full until the giant pay raise. They clearly dont regret leaving and if they do theyll be at American (some are) before you go to Delta.

Seriously, why do you do this stuff? If you're this stupid and uneducated, how can anyone trust anything you say on here?
Which company rep told everyone to leave? Maybe a Alpa rep. Interview prep was for guys going to Delta. No captains got furloughed in 13 or 14. Air Wisconsin couldn’t staff 20 additional aircraft. Delta had told us prior we would be a 900 operator. Every statement you have said is complete BS. Thank god our planes don’t have parachutes because you would have jumped off at the first caution msg.

Well im the Skywest plant anyhow.

BW is the company rep, and RG was forced to back his line of crap followed by "clarifying" his intent. That apology tour lasted a month mostly by RE and TW. Yes the union afterwards said "as long as the company line is to leave then we can echo it"

Everything you wrote up there is more or less your normal shlock. IDK man, you can only revise history so much.

I recall chief pilot and other management messages encouraging pilots to leave and talking about how if enough people didn't leave there would be furloughs to take the company down to the numbers required (the company was shrinking by more than 1/3). This is also when LTLOAS and ELTLOAS were brought out. When the operation started to fall apart from so much of the company going elsewhere the tune changed but there was probably a 6-8 month period of doom and gloom even from management.

Yes, 9E was going to be a 900 operator...mostly by parking anything that wasn't a 900 and at the same time giving up the ATL ones.

Gosh I’m glad I wasn’t here for that drama. This just in. Delta has again changed their 3-carrier DCI plan. But I’m not spoiling it this time. Look for an official statement by CoB Friday.

Exactly! The change happened due to lack of bodies. It’s a reaction to reduction. It’s going to get worse for regionals.

Will this be a good or less than good announcement for us? I like twenty questions.

Now look 5 years into the future, when we have 500 Propel pilots on staff, we not only have a mass exodus, we have a glut of pilots that will fill the first classes when Delta starts hiring again. There is no way we could possibly survive something like that in this market.
