Interesting cause the pilot contract says a pilot will not receive per diem prior to the commencement of IOE.

Hmm not sure about that then, just speaking from personal experience :D

Don’t worry. You’re not good enough for delta. Let them create their own Gestapo force of supreme quality. Once the Delta Propel Pilot Career Path Program is in place, expect them to implement genocide to those whom file health claims.

Is it me

Or is the forum showing there's three more pages of posts than there actually is?

Holy crap!

Well Endeavor pilots, if you ever wondered what Daddy D thinks of you it’s right here.

A big F you.

This is hysterical. I want to make these phone calls

If you're referring to the 'Placement at a DCI" thats somewhat old news.
Although qualified applicants will likely have little trouble finding a FO position at a DCI carrier on their own; Propel describes an 'anointed' job at a DCI. Our union has taken a very strong stance; to the point of not endorsing the DGI. The fact we as a group (hint... heard the rumors??) have not heard anything about this suggests there has been some work in the background....

The problem is there is no captain requirement to move to Delta as there is with the DGI. I'd be livid if I were a Delta pilot, and had a kid that worked here.

No, it's just what you think they think of you. Perception is only reality when you allow it to be. I think "Daddy D" is taking pretty darn good care of me...my pay check is fat, my wife and kids are enjoying not getting bumped by grandkids of retirees, and last I read, more growth is coming soon.

Stay the course, be patient, and even better things will come our way. You of all people should know this, Bartok.

Not sure every wrinkle has been wrinkled out on this. I'm willing to give it a few months to see what pans out. It does require 1,000 121 time before being able to move on...so it's not much different than one of our existing FOs getting an OTS. Interview and reviews are spaced out longer. Greater risk in this program than DGI, but definitely an innovative approach to attract next gen pilots.

What's wrong with the current way they/we attract pilots?

I can tell you, from my experience a couple years back...the process for me was night and day better than other carriers I was considering. I think our recruitment team is top notch. I've met many of the field recruiters, and judging by the quality of new hires I've flown with recently, they continue to hit it out of the park. What's wrong? Nothing whatsoever.
