So 18-03 is out w/no ATL vacancies (200 or 900). Thought that was the near term growth. Now what?

What’s with the recent classes having so many NYC 900 too? Aren’t we over staffed there enough already? New hires are never gonna get CKS if this keeps up unless more airplanes are coming

950 hours at time of bid close, May 18th, for those FOs sweating bullets if they have the time or not to upgrade

Near term growth? What near term growth? There's 3 airplanes left to come, that will be on property long before 18-03 hits training.

They must be thinking that a lot of NYC pilots are ready to resign then. No other reason to keep further overstaffing New York without any openings elsewhere. What happened to ATL being on par with New York for size?

Who said everyone needs training. If staying in same seat/aircraft and just changing base, 18-03 players can move 1 July. Thought we were ramping up ATL ops this summer. Guess not.

On a parallel note, no 900 FO TDYS to ATL next month. First time that has happened since Nov. put the two together and we ain’t growing as fast in ATL as first told.

They decided to TDY 8 900 CA OUT of ATL instead, of course to NYC. I guess this is what it's like to live with a schizophrenic. If Northwest was something, it was predictable... Delta has a meeting at 8:30 on a path, and has changed their mind 4 times by lunch.

There was memo 18-01 in the vacancy tab that clearly says the ATL growth was not gonna happen as fast as they orginally planned due to EV consolidating all their flying in ATL as they wind down their Delta flying. So we have 16 lines of flying for summer planned and it should be fully grown in Fall with 20 lines of flying.

Default The Carrot

Keep dangling those carrots and they keep coming. It's a great recruiting tool honestly until the newbies discover what being based in New York entails. The fantastic co-base complete with airport reserve and expensive everything will keep em here right? No career progression as well makes it a great choice. I know I am going to get hammered but Edv ain't all that great. I too came with big hopes and it's been less than fun. Just my two cents.
