Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

I'll just put a blunt statement out there.
I have seen current day "endeavor" over the last decade. Through mergers, leading contract, bankruptcy, bad contract, chopping block, street captains, decade upgrades. Right now, things are good and designed to be even better. In taking a "birds eye" view, if I was wanting to get into the 121 business for a career in the airlines, it would be an easy decision for endeavor. My ticket out is punched and working with new hires in the sims, but when I hear the logic of the new hires, I can't help but agree with them.
The airline business is only consistent in 1 metric, things work up, then fall apart, just to be rebuilt. Based on who owns us, what is here, what is available, and a long term viewpoint, endeavor wins. Plus, they pay the most.
Call it opinion, but run the numbers. Upgrades are happening quickly, more planes arriving, folks are leaving to DL, and new hires are given a path to DL. That's where the industry is going, although some are slow on the uptake. Others understand it, but are in contracts that are cost prohibitive to attract talent. DL owns endeavor and is paying to play for seamless operation from a regional to DL mainline.
DL wants us to hire 60/mo, and are paying so, with movement as the new bonus. Upgrade will be under 3 years, 2ish years if you are willing to go anywhere for upgrade. 6 months ago, I was a downgraded 900 FO by seniority. Now I'd be a 900 line holder of I was bidding. Working in training is a different, yet a fun and challenging, animal.
It should be a simple decision, yet folks want to use the idea of "what if" instead of "this is happening". Take what is going on at face value, look at where you want to go, and look at what is available. It's not a sales pitch, just run the Numbers.

I agree completely. To the pilots searching for the next step in their career try to focus on the positive stuff you see on these forums. You'll often run into the negative comments from discruntled former employees that are mad they left when things are actually good here now. Higney85 I couldn't have said it better myself. The sooner you get to class the sooner you'll upgrade.

Meanwhile, Colgan pilots hired 2 years after you never did sit reserve as 900 captains, and Mesaba pilots hired a year before you are still looking at a minimum of 6 more months reserve ( if the next vacancy is as junior as 15-06)... just saying.. the current situation can't be used to help out a new hire because the DOH was so badly screwed up by ALPA merger committee / arbitrator Bloch in the merger. And the 900 becomes ever more clogged with lifers with the poor acceptance of the SSP.
Kyle,
Stop playing the small violin. Last I checked you were senior to me. If you want to go to DL, go interview. If you want a line either wait or bid to where you can hold one. You are on reserve in base and you likely won't bid out of base for a line, justifiably so, so chill out or bid down to the -200 in Dtw where you would hold a line. Call me Scrooge, but the non stop complaining is now an annoyance. Yes, reserve sucks, yes, we all know you hate it, but you are in base and making more than the rest of the industry doing it. Either make a change or swallow reality. Bloch screwed things up for more than you and I, but it's reality. Accept it, use it as motivation to go somewhere else, or drown in your own sorrow.

With everyone flocking in for the good pay and probably commuting instead of living in base, how long before morale starts to go down the ****ter ? Does Endeavor have the infrastructure to support the growth ? i.e. scheduling, payroll, etc personnel ?
I guess I don't get why the #1 advice given here is to live in base and QoL and now all of a sudden a couple of dollars is going to make all that better ? if you spend all your bonus money on crashpads what good is it to have bonus money ?
I do speak from experience, I have traveled all over chasing that all mighty dollar. If you are single and don't mind the ****ty ROI then have it I reckon.
