I guess they finally decided 90+ reserves was enough on the 900. I’m surprised there aren’t NYC 200 FO vacancies with how understaffed it is. Maybe they just are filling the base with the forced TDYs from MSP.

Between the 200 and 900 there was 23 open spots in Detroit. But many of them might still go to people looking to get out of New York that have been on property.

We do have the same provision. He must have thought you either had an S2 or something else about seat assignments was done incorrectly.

Although if you just said the company paid for a ticket home instead of using the word "deadhead" in there I could see that too. The DL term is "deviating" but if the word "deadhead" was in there he should have figured it out.

FO here.. I was assigned a 3 day trip with 20 hour notice to start on my second day of LCR. Day 5 of 6, they have added flying to finish on day 6. So it ended up being a 4 day. Not a bad start

Ok, Need your anonymous help...

Upgrade to CA:

Reserve in ATL (home but I would be the plug)
Line in NYC.

Knowing that it is almost impossible to drop a reserve day, would you take the bottom reserve slot or hold a line in NYC (close to the bottom, but still a line)

What say you.

How many days off can you hold with that line? If it’s min days off, why commute and lose some of those days off possibly over losing none while driving to work? My .02
