What CJO event? What does CJO stand for here (from context, seems obvious it does not stand for conditional job offer here)? Also, how in the heck does one find out about these random yet obviously critical "events"? I'm on the DAL recruiting fb page, I keep check on the career expo page and this STILL got by me! I just checked the fb page since mention of this "CJO event" here and NOTHING! No mention of it whatsoever! So maddening! I would definitely make time to attend these things but I need to actually freaking KNOW about them so I can! Is there some secret DAL event notification outlet I need to coerce out of someone? Is there some painfully obvious source that I'm apparently too ignorant to see or what? Somebody please help! I am SO tired of missing these things!

It was a CJO event for Endeavor not Delta.

Haha it was an event HR did for those holding CJO's but still a few months out from starting. Think it's meant to make sure they fall in love and don't go running off somewhere else in the meantime. Looked kinda cool from the pictures, was at the Delta museum and there was some Delta leadership there with ours.

I am a new hire going to training next month. I need 5 days off in a row in August for a family vacation that was scheduled before I interviewed. I can work any other time in August. Is this something they can work with me on? If so, when should I bring it up in training?

You will be done with training by then. You will just have to try to bid that time off in your August bid. You’ll figure it out by then. Nothing you can really do at this point until you get through training.
