You know how many times I've heard them tell me, in ATL, that "Delta wants all the 2 class ATL flying to be on Skywest in the next year or two". It's hilarious the stuff they believe

Why would they move all of their 700s out of DTW to SLC so that a regional that currently has zero presence there, can operate them? That literally makes zero sense.

I never thought pilots could be so gullible

the gojet 7s will be operated out of nyc since there are less restrictions compared to the 9s... the 9s will move back to dtw and msp (at least somewhat)... slc??.. who knows.. we tried that once... i am looking forward to the renewed crying of skywest once they start nyc ops... not as easy as we make it look is it... i am sure chip will figure it all out.

Please, let's not even pretend like pilots have anything to do with performance of an operation in NYC.

Makes about as much sense as OO flying out of NYC...

Pilots can make or break performance. EDV has consistently better performance system wide and other operators in the same hubs and markets. Pilots aren't the only factor, but it's easy for pilots to impact performance when they are flying 250kts or less to maximize block.

I have absolutely zero faith in this rumor. Sounds like an intense logistical nightmare with no payoff. But hey, I've been surprised before by this industry. All the same.... I'll hold off on buying a house in SLC

I'm calling BS. The only thing impacting performance in NYC is availability of reserves and spare equipment. Pilots like to think the can have an impact on performance but they don't.
