Talk to your friends at ENY, XJT, and SKW where RSV is over a year, and up to two years. Pretty sure you have zero to complain about here.

dont go to mainline then if you dont wanna sit reserve for more than 2 monthes

I’m not trying to sound negative, I actually live in base so reserve isn’t bad other than having to pay more in gas and tolls. It is just a little frustrating because 2 classes before me has been holding lines since December.

Is SKW and ENY reserve really that long? I’ve heard of SKW going straight from IOE to line on the crj but things could be different on the 175.

Comparing mainline reserve and regional reserve is a bit silly. Tons of senior mainline guys bid reserve over a line since their reserve rules are much better. You don’t see that much here, and will probably happen even less now that they got rid of the 2 on/1 off P3 trick.

Like I said in my other comment I’m not trying to be negative or entitled but like every other pilot here I’m trying to work on my career progression and blocking 75 hours would help that a lot more than 20 would. Things should get better after the slow season though.

P3 isn’t gone. But what some guys did was bid 2 days on and 1 off on P3 and as a result the company can very rarely utilize you (for CDOs at least). The new contract has minimum reserve stretches of 3 days.

youll get your 12 days off you just can do 2 on 1 off anymore and yes p3 is a reserve line
