That is...less than helpful advice considering Dtw and NYC are both eastern time zone.

Bummer, that's what Paul said too. The company treats 121.436 as an upgrade requirement, even though it is to act as PIC. I'll only be < 10 hours shy at the final award and am guaranteed 25 hours of OE prior to acting PIC. Sucks to be so close. Any word on when 18-02 will come around?

EDV doesnt have a signing bonus, they have a training completion bonus...

What he is saying is that if enough people do not upgrade, they are going to HAVE TO hire DECs. Not that they want to. I took it as lighting a fire under some asses. The more Captains BEHIND me the better but I get it. I think they want more people internally to upgrade. I don’t think they really want DECs but you have to crew the Canadian Dream Jet. It will be interesting to see what happens this time. It will probably be like the last time with people still in training getting Capt slots. It’s going to people still in ground school. With the rumors of more Canadian Plastic toys coming, there will be a lot more slots. This binness is crazy though and you never know really know what the D Gods have in store for us.
