Actually if you wait to hit nav mode in the 900 you remain in TO mode which then takes the snapshot of your heading weight off wheels. If you select Nav right after liftoff, it goes into HDG mode (tracking the heading bug which should be runway heading) until 400 AGL then captures FMS and follows that track.
Oh btw Teriyaki jerky is the best.
Part 121 proof
I was wondering if anybody could say what sort of proof the company wants to see for CA upgrade with respect to the required part 121 time?
Aside from logbook, which seems like it should be enough, would a print out from former airline CrewTrac be OK? How about printout or PDF of FLICA Expense report/Flight Log? For those who have been through the class, was there a preferred or least pain format that everybody was happy with insofar as meeting the 1000 hour threshold?
Thanks

I’m going to go out on a limb here and assume that Avroman was just providing the reason that nav/hdg is selected at positive rate.

I didn't include the difference of TO/TO vs Hdg in my explanation because it didn't affect me as a super pilot (certainly not because I oversimplified or forgot) but it might be helpful for others.
In the jerky debate, I recently found a Chipotle Cracked Pepper jerky from Real Cuts that I prefer over a plain jane teriyaki. I guess it depends on your level of jerky gourmet, I'm comparing to like Jack Links teriyaki, so maybe there's a better comparison out there.
