Fly around in a weedwhacker at $20 an hour or opentime on the new payrates? Tough choice.

True, however building TPIC or your 121 hours to help with career progression or upgrade is much more important. But to each is their own, instruct away if your heart desires

Clearly a personal attack was warranted. He said what he has. He related his experience flying in Atlanta. You S&@t on him. His experience probably won’t be theirs. Your predictions also probably won’t be their experience. You’re doing it wrong if you’re only getting $20/hr these days.

Anyone have some clarification for the pass travel improvements email. I understand the concept of a companion pass but I’m somewhat confused about the first improvement in relation to being called for seats after “active” Delta.

Does this simply mean we will have priority over Delta retirees when non-revving?

Thanks for the clarity.

Don’t expect a lot when you contact scheduling and the station chief pilot. I emailed them at the 80 day point and got told “don’t worry about it, scheduling will take care of it”. Found out later that means an almost automatic push to 150 days. The pool of LGA 900 FOs that are approaching 120 days without CKS is getting bigger by the week. There are many I know that finished LOE at end of August that are still waiting to get CKS priority. FWIW, the crew resource report in Flica shows who on reserve is tagged for CKS.

Fair, but when I can be pulling $90+ an hour next year to not sit in the pattern, I know what I'll choose!

It appears so. Like someone said when the announcement was made, I’ll believe it when I see it.
