for people with 1000 121, a month or 2 on the line, but the company has indicated that are thinking about street captains.
For people starting from scratch, it’s when you get 1000 121. getting 1000 121 takes about 18 months- depending on how aggressive you want to be in picking up block time.

Was told yesterday that street hires will probably be coming soon and we are giving people captain spots right out of training now apparently. This was said by someone in management

In the most recent realignment it was stated they may need to award Captain positions to new hires. This is because not all FO's eligible to bid captain have shown an interest. If all eligible FO's bid then it most likely won't happen until the next realignment/vacancy. There has been no mention of street captains, only rumors. Even though awarding it to new hires is very close.
