Ipad

Was looking at a new Ipad and wanted to ask what’s the best that works with Endeavor? I don’t want to carry two and need a new one anyway. I read that you get money back from EDV if you bring your own?

We are approved for iPad Air 2 32gb or more and first gen iPad Pro 32gb or more the smaller one. Yes they give you an equivalent amount of the iPad which comes out to about 15-17 dollars a month until it’s paid out don’t remember the total value

CRJ types

May I also ask what versions of the CRJ does EDV fly? In other words; 900 (ER/LR) 700 (705/701ER) etc.

I would hiiiiighly recommend taking the company iPad. It's free and then it's NOT YOUR PROBLEM if you break it.

I wish they wouldn't have done that, the FAA is rewriting AC120-76 to allow the functions of the cellular iPad.

Given how slow the FAA likes to work, by the time these ones are up for replacement this may be a reality.

You get $17.07 per month if you bring your own. For 30 or 32 months, can’t remember for sure. Works out to be just over $500.

Company is wifi only, you can have GPS (cellular data model) in yours if you want. Makes it nice if you want to know where you are. (Though GPS is disabled in Jepps).

If you break your own, company will give you a loaner, the same as if you use a company ipad. This gives you time to get yours fixed/replaced/ The company requires you to carry insurance if you bring your own. However, if you are willing to buy a replacement outright, I don’t see the need to waste money on insurance.
