I am truly torn about what to? Envoy or Endeavor? The new TA at EDV is ok. Will Envoy come up, quite possibly! For now here are the things dancing around in my head;
Quicker Command at Envoy than EDV in NY. Will the TA change that, not sure at EDV. I have the time and would like the left seat and am quite aware of what that means. Envoy has four hotels each month.
MIA base. Probably a few years off but I do think EDV will ever have a FL base except for MAYBE, MCO. If the TA gets signed this might be more likely to happen than if it gets voted down but I would hazard a guess, it's a ways off.
Slightly better pass travel at AA than DL. Probably a wash as you will always be in economy anyway. I guess it depends an where, and how often, you want to though.
Flow. I honestly have no desire to fly for AA but it's there. DL I would love to but get in line and a high rejection rate. A flow would have changed that for me personally.
It's almost as bad having too many choices. I flew (rated in the CRJ) but I don't think it really matters, CRJ vs EMB. Yes, I know there are many other variables but for today.
Thanks for any insight.

You DO realize that he has about as much say about where they fly as you and I do here, right? It’s not the fault of the pilot group that they keep following us everywhere (except NY). Blame INC. and DAL.

Can't you get a bulk discount on train rides? I know in ATL, you get a discount if you buy like 20 at a time.

The acceptance rate of the SSP wasn't all that low, it was somewhere 60-70% of pilots who participated. I think there was a few reasons for this rate not being higher. First was the old MEC falsely promoting the SSP as a flow and the most Sr. guys going into the interview unprepared getting a "double no" and without the ability to reinterview. Second was one of the airlines integrated into Endeavor was notorious for failing pilots on PC's and this didn't look good in the interview. Third is the culture at Delta of not accepting regional pilots as qualified as those with a military background. The third is where I think discouraged many people. They did the work, went it did a good job, and were given a "no" because they didn't have a chance with the pilots involved in the interview because the pilots had predetermined they would make sure the regional pilots didn't get hired. These interviewers often times were not nice about it making comments about other airlines that were hiring pilots. This understandably caused some resentment within our pilot group and the stories of unfair interviews spread quickly. This has also become the go to excuse for everyone who got a "no" in the interview, it's easy to pretend that they didn't want you only because you were a regional pilot and it had nothing to do with your poor attitude, poor work record, or poor preparation. On a good note this culture is starting to change within the pilot group. The old Delta guard is retiring and acceptance of regional pilots within the pilot as more regional pilots are hired. I know that explanation was long but it explains why I think the DGI will have a higher acceptance rate than the SSP. No one will go in thinking this is a flow, it's only an opportunity to interview and folks who want the job will prepare properly. The training department here is fair and failures are earned earned by the pilots not handed out as a punishment. Last is that changed culture at Delta fewer and fewer people will have and HR interview where the pilots interviewing will have chosen to set the candidate up to fail.
Endeavor is a great place to work. Management has shown integrity. Work rules are good for a regional. Pay is great and I expect Jan 1 to be better. There is opportunity to be more than a pilot right away. The pilot group unlike this forum is full of positive people who enjoy working here. We are looking at fleet expansion continuing through next year so quick upgrades will continue. The QOL at Endeavor is what I expected from a regional airline and I recommend Endeavor to anyone considering starting an airline career. If you want a flow this is not the place to come. If you want a place that offers the opportunity to work for the number one legacy and are willing to put the time and effort needed to pass the interview this is the place.

I'm in the Kew. I take the subway to the Air Train for a total of $7.25 compared to Q-runner ($11 w/tip) and Kew Cab ($12).
I take the Endeavor shuttle when it matches with my show time...which it almost never does. It does work well for going back to the Kew at the end of the day.

We will and our TA will force all regionals to give higher hourly pay instead of only stimulating hiring through bonuses. Our pilot group will increase the standard of living for thousands of regional pilots. I ask in your next contract you return that favor...
