Depending on sim 70 days sounds correct. To a line in NYC and ATL on the 200 has been quick, guys are bidding over the 900 asap. You sit reserve for 2 months and it feels like your buddies on the 900 are sky rocketing ahead of you on the 9. Then a new vacancy posts, boom, you have weekends off and a commutable line. The 900 guys then slow progression. I'm not sure how this new seat lock will effect reserve times. With the hiring coming in I'd exect 2 months or so to stay the norm on both aircraft.

I understand that the company wants higher productivity from the reserves. What I don't understand is how you don't see tha company allowing single days off with 2 days on for reserves is stupid for company. It's only bid as a "defense" to not work as much. People sure don't enjoy 1 day off at a time. I never met a pilot who in the bus says "heck yeah I have one off!" It's a way to manipulate the system for more time off. If you choose to sit reserve you will get an extra day off, or better commuter rules to commute to a line with many more days off.

Seeking recommendations for App review/interview prep services. From what I could find from the Google machine Cage Marshall is a must if you have a UAL interview (Alpa discount too), Emerald Coast is also good especially for Delta/FedEx.
Anyone else have experiences they can share?

You are clearly a flipping genius... you must not be on reserve or don't have a clue how it works here. This was the way it has always been for reserves. ALWAYS...what little QOL we have this stipulation of 2 on 1 off really has helped some have a few more nights at home. It's not about avoiding work you tool...it's about having more time in your own bed if you live in base. Reserve at this company is a complete disaster and our union made reserve worse for those of us stuck on reserve. if you knew anything about reserve rules here you wouldn't be such a blow hard about this part of our pilot group.
You heard it from this guy everyone, reserve is awful here, and commuting is your only solution.
... ... Unless you just love reserve in MSP or DTW, especially 2 on 1 off when they can barely use you, making you functionally useless as a reserve pilot. That's impossible though, because reserve is death.

I would pass on emerald coast for delta. It is geared heavily toward military guys/gals.
