Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
Anyone else find it ironic that at a time when people are upgrading as quickly as they can get their hours and are being offered over $50 starting pay that pilots are b!tching?
These negotiations were about turning TEMPORARY bonus' into permanent hourly wages.
The union did it and more.

Strictly speaking about the reserve proposals, take it from a career reserve, they aren't good. Not worth just the one extra day off a month. Maybe if they added in that any unused reserve day also credited 4 hours (or at least say 3.75) then I'd probably say ok but we are making reserve even more awful for one more hard day off. And keep in mind that with one less day of reserve, and still no credit for an unused day, that makes it that much harder to hit the 83 hrs/month to keep the pay from becoming a pay cut.

I don’t need to be educated by you. I’ve been around as well. The only reason we are doing as good as we are is because of demand and demand will improve things even more down the road. The GET IT NOw mentality will not work. Now is not the time to stick it to Delta. Things have been getting better here for the last 2years and it’s because Delta sees a need to compete to attract new pilots and retain what we have. Once AA ups one on D we will be back at the negotiating table to see what can be done. These ideas can’t come from us! It has to be their idea, flow, staple or whatever. This is a good deal even pre bankruptcy along with many improvements they have done along the way.
[QUOTE=Yumyum;2441712]I'm not saying get it now...the whole package is close, but needs to be slightly tweaked. Flow and all that jazz will have to come from DL, I think it's pointless for our group to keep talking about it. It's okay to counter a deal isn't it?[/
I believe the whole point was to put the bonus into wage ie; better tax bracket, it won’t expire and income potential. The Union could have LOA’d the pay rate without ratification but wanted to do more than just pay. This was not meant to redo the whole contract. I truly believe if we as a pilot group are patient, the job progression everyone is looking for will come. As someone mentioned when has anyone ever see $50/ hr first year at any regional? I started at $17. Things have changed for the better finally but this is not the last time we will be negotiating at the table. We have the demand and that’s why we’re able to get what’s in this updated contract. I’m not convinced it will evenly compete with American but if it doesn’t the table will be rolled back out you can guarantee that. Supply and Demand.

And that guy is the reason for the provision that prohibits reserves from ever having less than 3 reserve days. Won't even be able to drop or trade if it causes less than 3 in a row. The P3 2 on 1 off trick is being banned. Watch P3 become the junior contact time with all the "clock swapping" that will go on with 3+ days available. And then those P1's will get the lovely 5 am wakeup to be converted to CDO flying that night because the night before the P3 was converted to cover day flying. There really needed to be protections on day/night swapping and first and last day start and end times for that give. The reserve abuse I'm seeing in all the reserve rule tweaks isn't worth that one extra day off. And who the hell cares how much a reserve day is worth (raising it to 4 hours) since there is still no credit awarded to a reserve day not called in. All that does is burn more sick time for a day called off.

Only cover 1 cdo. Most cdos are in stretches of 2-3. You would need 2-3 rsv lines just to cover one sick call. Complete waste of resources

We have been negotiating for over a year. This deal has had hundreds of offers and counter offers between our representatives and the company representatives. We have been through the collective bargaining process, it's time to accept or decline.
