I agree, you might still be commuting to MSP or ORD for a while but at least you have a chance at getting based in SLC.

It'll be interesting what is happening with the retention bonus. The other items on "the list" aren't huge gains for us and given the info we've received, I'm not sure what we're willing to give up is worth what's being proposed

Exactly. 150% open time doesn't do anything for reserve pilots and Endeavor has a ton of 8-11 year pilots on reserve so that's a failure. DH pay I won't even address because I don't DH enough to give a Sh!t. Hotels for comutters...um how does this help reserve pilots ?? Hey ALPA do you realize how many senior pilots are on reserve at Endeavor? Stop trying to shove this garbage down our throats.

Take DL's RJ900 pay rates and make them active...then take all the LOA's, retention bonuses, DH's, vacation increases, blah blah blah and dump it all.

Done..see how it that was? We are worth the money
Rsv isn't 10yrs. Try 3 months.

Oh... you are talking about Captains. Some choose to be FO's until they can hold a line to avoid complaining about reserve.

your crazy.

An airline flying enough ac in and out of a city so that it can (give better bases)(that are safe and affordable).

Airlines fly planes to make money, not make pilots happy. Don't like the bases? pick a different airline. geesh

Who wants to bet that 1st year FOs end up making more than every other FO once the details of this are announced?
I remember a while back Mesaba ALPA refused to allow new hire bonuses. They said raise to all or none.

Go read my previous post!!! I live in base!!!!!! I have lots of friends who won't come here regardless of pay because of our bases...... Meaning we are losing out on lots of potential pilots to come here as they go to Skywest/compass/PSA. Skywest is able to hire 50-60 a month due to there bases!!

Can you read? Who cares if you live in base. That has nothing to do with what I said. You offer that airlines could appeal to more pilots if they change their bases. That is ignorant. Bases exist because of their location and its profitability. Not for its appeal to pilots. End of discussion.

Well they could let us get a base at SEA or ATL or LAX or SLC all delta bases and 100 times better then NYC or DTW and all would benefit a lot of pilots looking for a better/easier commute!!! And all delta hubs!!!!!!
