I agree. However, even without the super secret squirrel bonus, Envoy still offers a slightly better overall compensation package plus a flow. For those that downplay the 6-year flow to AA, I'm betting it'll take much longer to flow to Delta even IF management decides to offer one. Anyone hired in the last 6-9 years might as well get comfortable at 9E. That is assuming DAL didn't restrict the flows to exclude previous SSP rejects.

Good point. It really is enticing for new FOs to jump ship.

Don't get me wrong, I think 9E is a great place to be and I really hope that DAL brought it strong with this TA. I'm out of here soon regardless but I wish the best for the rest of you. I'm fairly new here but everyone I've met/flown with have been fantastic people!

For those that aren't tied to a 9E domicile, do your research!

It's not that big of a secret. Call ENY recruiters and they'll tell you about it.

However, what is 2nd and 3rd year pay like? What is RSV like? And since you will basically be a DEC, you will be on RSV longer than anyone else on property today.

Head on over to the envoy thread and read the last 25 pages. Then decide if $41K and reduced 2nd yr pay is worth it to you. It may be, for some.

Doesn’t seem like it would fit into your idea of fairness if we both get paid 100 hours but I got a bunch of mine at premium and you didn’t.

Since the contract that every Endeavor pilot flies under is unfair to you and favors others I want to know what needs to be done. Maybe, 11 days off and 90 hours per month at a flat salary for everyone on property? That way we all work the same amount. Maybe captains should be retitled “pilot” and first officers retitled “pilot?” That way no one feels less important and special. I’d hate for someone to get the days off they wanted and you not get yours, so maybe we shouldn’t bid but be randomly assigned work periods. No lines or reserve, that’s terribly favorabl to certain individuals. Everyone’s on call!

Is this enough? Be sure to propose your ideas to, I wouldn’t want to stifle your exceptional mind...
What is your point? Are you trying to argue that we should work to keep the bonus system? Or is this just ad hominem?

We need to talk about real problems here at the airline. Why do my CVG overnights now have me back at the bloody Doubletree prison instead of the Radisson downtown with activities? WTF We had good food, good views, and entertainment... now I get a $15 salad or dinner from the airport.

Why would you think anything besides the words on the contract were correct? It always turns out the written words are correct.

I'm going out on a limb here and going to say there will not be any retropay.

That..... and even though the reserve grid is red we can’t pick up reserve days..... if they are under a threshold why don’t they offer reserve days to be picked up so people can actually drop something.

Unless they want it. The best we can hope for is settle for TA.
Hope hiring remains flat and wait for them to come to us with a flow.
They have already said no twice to these guys. This is the reason Delta will not provide a flow to this company for a long time, the first group of guys are people that they didn't want. Flowing them would probably cause a lot of problems for Delta. These guys rightfully have a chip on their shoulder about Delta, they were rejected and no one likes to be rejected. Delta said no to many of these guys because they wouldn't be good for Delta, I found who were rejected just didn't fit into an airline who's focus is customer service and professionalism vs. price. (If that statement offends you, you are one of the guys who I understand got the double know. If you understand the statement I'm sorry you are probably the 1:10 that Delta let get away) Anyway flowing the senior guys to FO's right now would probably be a bad idea for both Delta and the pilots in both the short run and long run. The only way a flow will happen is when this group is greatly reduced by attrition and time heals the wounds.
