We are a far cry more important than some of you can come to terms with. Take value in that. Mesabah, you too. It's almost like you don't want anything good for this place. If we were just small potatoes, then there would be no reason to infuse cash into this place. I'm guessing it is going to be a pretty steep hike in pay if no quasi-flow (ill call it) is offered.

Now jumping one year from today, I believe the market will dictate the need for solid career progression. Delta will have to either pay eff loads or give progression. It's just what may be needed now; but certainly in the future. This is business turkey talk. I'm going to love it when all the NEVERs and WONTs CANTs etc that dominates the life of Mesabah turns out to be wrong.

As long as we have a “me too clause” for new hire progression.... anything new hires get, we all get.

What would you do if say, increase in pay still yields poor hiring versus attrition numbers versus a desire to give the subsidiary more airplanes to keep schedules running? Owner needs vis-a-vis employee attraction. It's a good argument you make though.

Alot more pilots average over than 83 hours than less.

This is a pay raise for most pilots, not a cut.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that this is the best negotiating climate we pilots have been in recent history. I'd bet we have more leverage now than at any other time in just about everyone here's career. Let's not throw away the negotiating capital this economy has given us. Granted it could all change in an instant, but strike while the iron is hot.

A pay cut for any pilot is wrong. Don't give me the line about "just pick up a trip". Nobody should have to work more to avoid a pay cut.

A temporary bonus is not pay.

Bad argument.

Alright guys. Justify to all the people who will take a pay cut why they should. I don't get why anyone here would argue that anyone should take a pay cut.
