Our MEC will look it over, and if they like it, they will send it to the pilots to a vote, if they don't, back to the drawing table. If it does go to the pilots for a vote, which most likely it will, may God have mercy on this thread, it's gonna get wild.

So when do we get to see the TA? Is that what the Wednesday call is or will they send us a email with a copy of it?

It will be just like the Skywest "contract". Lots of big talkers online but those big talkers aren't so big in person...

If the solid career progression isn't there, there will be a huge push to get a large no vote. I surely hope the MEC ensured this was in the package...or else this won't bode well. Will wait to see the language first and give them the benefit of the doubt. Pay is one thing, career progression matching our peers is another thing that must be included in the TA for it to pass.

I don't understand why we're staying with retention payments instead of hourly pay? I thought that was one of the main problems with current contract.
Nothing on career progression speaks for itself.
Guarantee from Delta we will be
In existence for years to come is our job security I guess?

I heard our pay will go up $18 per hour, but every pilot on property as of next week will get not one, but TWO lanyards (just pay $9.99 extra for shipping).

We aren't staying with retention payments. First line, second paragraph. "The TA moves the current Pilot Retention Payments into pay rates".

Amen! :-). I hope that we are wise enough to accept a good thing, understanding we are not Delta and will not have Delta benefits and pay, and keep doing a good job for our company. It will get wild though.

Did you read the email?

"The TA moves the current Pilot Retention Payments into pay rates. If ratified, the contract extension TA will provide current and prospective pilots the best pay and benefits package in the regional industry."
