New word on the street is that mainline is working with our union to build a new pilot contract. Any rumor control?

Why would Delta pilots want our worse than worthless MEC involved in their negotiations? Hell, we don't even have a contract anymore. We have a pile of LOA's that nobody even knows what's in force now. The company basically can do what they want (and does) and the union just says "well it was part of an LOA".

Not their negotiations, our negotiations. The rumor suggests that Delta wants to give us one, a contract. Apparently one of the regional CPs leaked it to a check airman who told another and another. Personally it sounds like a pipe dream to me.

Don't shoot the messenger. And yes it's not believable. But this guy is adamant.

We will just have to wait and see then. I think personally all are ok with status quo...all meaning 9E alpa and Delta ALPA

I was in contact with a guy on the negotiating committee and he said there was nothing going on. Rumor dead.

The Delta pilots are in contract talks, so rumors will be flying everywhere.

Can anyone give me an idea of what a normal month on reserve will look like schedule wise, say out of New York?

Just wondering how many days on/days off and how it works. Trying to weigh this commute.

Thank you.

Depends......but junior reserve is probably 4 on 2 off or 5 on 3 off. We do have super seniority which enables you to comutte in the day of. That's just a guess but things are changing daily over here.
