The hotel I would love to dump would be the DFW dump a 20m drive to say in a La Quinta in 6 flags WTH....
Tons of kids constantly running around and a gas station who signed off on this one??? We pass a bunch of hotels on this way to this one with more to eat and without thousands of mouth breathers running the halls
I have turned in tons of complaints on this one just for the hotel to get renewed again

This mont I did a lot better avoiding MGM with my normal bid, vs last month where I specifically bid to avoid MGM.

I can't believe that we're still staying there. I haven't been there in over a year but I remember being late for a flight because we had to wait for the driver to figure out how to load a poor kid onto the van who was in a wheelchair.

I'm in Columbus Georgia for 18 hours. We got picked up by the downtown Marriot driver only to be dropped off at the airport Fairfield inn between a highway and a bunch of storage units.

Long stay, short stay hotel language can't come soon enough.

Southern comfort is the name of it. The food is outstanding. The stuffed baked potatoe will harden your arteries before you even start to eat it

[QUOTE=CBreezy;2419858]Everyone needs to quit being divas. Is it dumb? Yes. Dangerous? HA. If you make a welcome announcement like most people do, stepping into the cabin to do it takes less than 30 seconds more.[/QUOTE

Nope... not going to happen. You go right ahead.

It has nothing to do with being a diva. What are you taught from day 1 of getting your private that is the most important thing to do? Fly the plane first.

I get it, the customer experience is important and pax like to see the pilot, but we've had some really bad pilot deviations (ATL RNAV departures), and some scary FOQA data. That is dangerous, period. We need to focus on flying the airplane safely first. Second to that is being a good mentor and setting a good example for the guy next to you. Especially with all the new FOs. A lot of them are in their first jet. The customer experience is far lower priority than operating the aircraft safely. We need to remember our priorities. Cross check each other and back each other up.

His response will be ...well you have time to do your pilot duties and then brief your passengers in the galley. Here is one way you can help customer service! Get a DAMN JETBRIDGE OPERATOR AND SOME EFFING RAMPEES IN JFingK.
Major problem currently. The operation is pathetic. Pilots outside loading pink tag bags. No gate agents. If delta prides themselves on customer service. Get rid of DGI! Hey galley announcement pilot...

Make sure you brief the passengers how long they will be waiting for their bags in the jetbridge. That will be the most useful information you can give them.

Someone start a slow clap for this guy. In jfk and lga sometimes it is best to hide your head because it's going to tear you up inside how poor above and below wing station ops is going to be. Making eye contact with everyone your letting down through poor staffing is painful.

I have a suggestion that would really help the customer experience, spend some of the billions in buyback money on the actual customers.

That's because the field is in the boonies, probably the closest decent hotel.
