Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
#1512
Last I heard it was republic 145 flying with the -200 and gojet 700 flying with the -900. That's more or less pre planned, but in the day to day stuff with an irop or MX issues it can be anyone's flying. It's very common for flying to be covered by others in day to day abnormal operations, even our own at times, although the needle has been the other direction for a while now.

Personal preference I guess, but the 850's are the most common to see and mine has worked well for almost a decade with a couple new sets of the ear pads and the mic condom (or whatever that thing is called) replacements (2 minutes of time to replace) as the only additional costs.

I can't tell a difference between the 200/900 in terms of noise... Until the -900 nose gear comes down... Then it's louder for obvious reasons. Either one is still fine to be without a headset on in cruise. A telex 850 works well. Some use the 750's, some use headclamps (David Clarks), some use full ear coverage headsets with ANR (Bose).

A guy who flew AA for many years told me not to waste my money on Bose. Said he had 4 of them, and they all went TU fairly quickly. He switches to LightSpeed, and advised me to do the same. I got the Zulu PFX, and have never looked back.

I read GoJet had a software update to one of their dispatch programs and well it crashed their system. It happens. Anyone remember the meltdown 9E had the day of and days after we went from WorldFlight to Aerodata?

Yea... But we have covered 950 flights in 2015 as of a week ago... That's not a single event with a couple "saves" a week. And that's just the day to day, not the pre planned hours that go into pairings to bid on from the start.
