We don't know if we have solid pay here until the bonus is made permanent, which may not happen.

Who are the current health insurance providers and the monthly premiums on average for good family coverage? Under ACA I am looking at $1600/month for BCBS.

So, bidding question...

I'm 200 LGA, almost bottom of the company for seniority since all the classes after me have been 900s.

I want Atlanta. I just changed my order to be ATL900, then ATL200, then LGA900. I figured that if I can't get Atlanta, I may as well move into a plane that would give me a CHANCE of getting a line before the next century.

Thoughts on my, well...thoughts?

Has anyone proposed to the union doing something like PSA for a pay scale, where they get raises every time aircraft come on property? So we agree to the lower rate now (holster the pitchforks for a second) and over the next year pay steadily increases with each added airplane.

Sounds smart to me. I told a friend jfk 900 just to bid LGA where he could hold a line even though he can't commute into LGA. The cost to ride over would be completely offset by having a line.

Basically in the same situation with a similar question. Assuming one could hold both ATL200 and ATL900 on 17-04, what would be the fastest way out of NYC? A move date on the 200 or a training date on the 900?

Unpredictable. I've seen move days quickly after final awards and some months away, likewise for differences. I could have gotten out of my last base faster with a straight move rather than aircraft change, but overall it was worth it for the QOL.

I'd bid what you want and see what happens in the initial award. I still think a line in NY is better than rsv in a ATL (unless you live in ATL)
