It seems like it could get pretty crazy in a hurry depending on how they do the realignment. Assuming there are no additional 900 CA spots in MSP, I see the top 20ish MSP 200CAs moving to MSP900 so the bottom 20 MSP900 CAs will be displaced plus the bottom 30 MSP200 CAs. (Making the junior CA spot in MSP about a 2001 hire date...)
You could see (for example) the #1 MSP200 pilot get displaced so he goes to the MSP900 which then displaces the bottom MSP900 guy who decides to go to DTW900 which bumps the bottom guy out so he decides to go to the DTW200 which bumps the bottom guy out who decides to go to the LGA900. One displacement moves 5 different people out of their spot.
You are right that it is pretty hard to predict where everyone will go.

Can a MSP -200 FO bid, upgrade consequently bump a MSP -900 captain?

If they are senior to the 900CA that they bump, I believe so. If you are displaced you can go anywhere your seniority can hold. That being said, there is probably only one or two MSP 200 Fos senior enough to do that.

I, for one, don't even understand what you're asking. L-ASA? They who? What new aircraft? Half longevity? What? What on gods green earth are you on about?

Let me try my hand at decoding.
L-ASA is legacy ASA pilots
Half longevity is sort of what XJ did for 9E pilots a long time ago so 20 years service would equal 10 years longevity at EDV
Shortened training needs a lot of alphabet soup types to agree to.
Don't hold your breath for that.

Seniority for Express 1 pilots in
MSP when NWA made MSP Mesaba only and MEM Express 1 only.

No, I haven't heard anything about this around C tower or anywhere else. We are hiring 60 a month and are slightly heavy on pilots as it stands. With the reduction of MSP 200, we'll have the pilots without issue.

For the past two years, we have averaged a net growth of 10-12 pilots a month with classes from 30-60. Those 200s will move from MSP to ATL so that is a net gain of zero on pilots vs. airframe. So until we actually start parking 200s, we will have to keep hiring to keep up.

Still love the rumor from 2 months ago that ASA was merging with endeavor. My answer to that is "the airplanes are merging but everyone else is given the boot" love the rumors started by crappy companies. As someone who spent some time on the XJT continental side and was furloughed. If I was delta I wouldn't want to have anything to do with those guys. Every Probationary XJT guy has a FUPM sticker on their flight case. Needs to be fired
