900s to ATL
I'm in the 24 July start class, we were all initially assigned 900s to LGA. A few of us are on the latest vacancy were switched to JFK. There are so many people assigned to 900s right now that we are going to be delayed a couple of weeks for sims. The MSP chief pilot indirectly told us yesterday that ATL is getting 900's, but wouldn't mention when or where those aircraft are coming from... my vote is Expressjet.

I'm guessing news on those incremental birds will be out in the next week or so. It's been bubbling up for a while now, let's see if my crystal ball is clear.
Anyone care to speculate on when the next vacancy will be? I'd expect one within a month or two if news of ATL 900s is announced. I'm currently on mil leave for 3 more months and considering withdrawing from this vacancy so as to free up a spot at my desired domicile for someone else but don't want to hose myself if there isn't another vacancy before my return.

There will be another vacancy before you get back, but who knows as far as move/training dates.

Huh, it doesn't matter if you're at a regional or mainline. It's every pilot for themselves

For clarification, it's just a domicile change so no training date needed and I'd be doing it for a buddy of mine who is next in line for the domicile. We're both listed as alternates.

More ATL updates
More direct from the horse's mouth: 900's in ATL by end of year. Should they come from another airline... we could have them ready at 4-5/mo. Also, if aircraft were picked up from some unknown airline, their routes would also be picked up. There is a full plan on the shelf that could have 700s flying in 60 days. Coincidence that Expressjet has both 900s and 700s? 200s are part of plan through 2018.
