OK it's a partial seniority order.. but not straight seniority because some may not be qualified, therefor they are skipped and someone junior gets the interview instead.

Bingo, the Envoy and Piedmont guys I come across are much more "all in" with the American Airline attitude than I'll ever be with Delta at this point. And I am still waiting to see my first Delta Pilot do a gate announcement.

Yea my friends at Delta said they've never seen a CA do one.

Btw, you may remember this from the March Hotline.

"First, we agreed that it was in the parties’ mutual interest to move away from the FTI scope issue and flow, as neither side could agree to the other’s proposal. It is likely we will continue to explore the LGA/JFK co-domicile initiative."

I'm curious how it's in "both parties' mutual interest" seems like it's one parties' interest. And how is co-domicile in our interest without something to show for it

We should stop negotiating with those idiots. Let the bonus expire and see what happens to this place. We will see a mass exodus like we've never seen. Maybe then they will have a meaningful discussion about flow or some other worthwhile career progression.

I also have never witnessed a delta commander do a gate announcement. They are above that kind of thing. But you fools better do it or else your shot at the DGI will be for nothing.

Things must have changed over the years. We gladly did gate announcements whenever there was a WX or MX problem that we could explain better than the agents could. Otherwise, they didn't want us to touch their microphones!

Dunno, but if the peeps doing the negotiations had CJOs then it would not be in their interest to poke the bear. I personally think the pay negotiations are a red herring, to deflect from real issues that are uncomfortable.

Maybe people with cjo's shouldn't be in the negotiations. I know a couple of them that are great guys who want good things for us, but you've got a point. Maybe they subconsciously are less aggressive than that would be otherwise

What seems to be the consensus of what pilots here actually want?

Mainline money, flow, long call, better reserve rules, more 401k, long and short hotels, cheaper but better insurance More or less everything mainline has seems to be the common topic
