A strike would be a great thing to get rid of the substandard conditions at the regionals, but that would require a real union.

Oh well, I'm giving it until the end of these negotiations. If nothing good happens, I'm out. There are more airlines offering better packages that I'm happy to go to.
Couldn't agree more ......

What!!! Ok how about the 20+year sim instructors/check airmen that got the double No? Smart move, I think not. Don't even go there buddy!

This is Trumps America everything and anything is possible. You think if we can rig an election we can't rig a seniority list or a flow? Wake up guys. Welcome to the new America where everything and anything is possible. Where even if you are white, black, poor, rich or even orange... you can make it happen!

Impossible is nothing!

Strike based on the misgivings of the remaining SSPer's? No thanks. I understand how big of a joke the SSP was and how some guys who should've went didn't and vice versa. But hey, there's no one here to really defend the SSP because the guys who got selected probably aren't checking the regional boards anymore. I'm an idiot because I don't want to strike, though. Ok, sir. Striking just because you got railroaded(or at least think you did)...good one.

Please don't wait, just leave. Promote a strike at some other regional that way we can get their flying when Delta Comairs them. Unlike you I like and enjoy my job.

Thanks for the correction. I was talking about the 2500hr TT requirement that the company has.

I agree.. Without a clear path for career progression, this present arrangement wont be sustainable. It certainly does not give any incentive for loyalty, diligence and other things. Also you are asking people to be brand ambassadors, to think, behave and groom themselves as the staff on the mothership. Yet in the same breath when it comes time to progress, you are telling them, you are not as good as us, we may or may not want you, prove yourself (the gist of DGI).
