Do a little math with your other preferences to check that they aren't adding up or subtracting more points than your day off request. Best thing to do would be to call the PBS help people as they will look at your bid and be able to see what is actually going on.
Thanks I PMed you. I changed to STRING of dates off...hopefully that will help. It's not too late, right? The mock bid means that I have a few days to amend my bid? It's just weird it didn't give me ANYTHING that I wanted, even though I bid top 10 in NYC. I have been gone from work for a year so trying to relearn some of this stuff.

If you want a string of dates off, bid backwards to forwards (like 20-15 Aug) and make it a high point set. Then bid something like 20 off, 19 off, 18 off, etc. back to the 15th with lower points set per day. Call the PBS folks and they can help you get the bid right. Has always worked for me.

Who here would go to Spirit or Frontier if they were close to upgrade?

This company is in no hurry to get improvements passed and the upgrades are NY or NY. Something is obviously going on behind the curtain in regard to MSP (endless TDY instead of vacancy), DTW (obvious shrinkage), and ATL (not a single vacancy slot on a base you are trying to grow to 200 pilots?).

Is the bus type worth it? The ULCC model seems to be skyrocketing.

On the other hand, Spirit had to strike to get a crappy contract, what will this one take?

Over on the gojet thread they are getting hot and bothered about a "Spirit flow", so I realize everyone has different standards. Just curious about the consensus here at our company. What would you do?

I have a company email that states "The company has elected to raise the Maximum Line Range Premium Pay Threshold for your position in August from 150% to 200%."
I'm an ATL 200 FO so why does the union say differently?

Think I'll bid the pay threshold and then have an official company communication to back it up.

Spirit has some really nice work rules and the pay after first year isn't criminal. I'd jump there today. Frontier on the other hand, personally I have not applied there, I would go to one of the American regionals with a flow first.

Frontier also has a training bond, IIRC.

True. Held a line in May, June, and in July. August it's back to P3 for me. Funny since I started at this company a year ago on P3 reserve and (according to the mock, at least for now) that's also what I'll be doing on my last few days of working here.
