There's a lot of people all up in arms about this, reglardless of anyone's opinion on the matter, it's not gonna be repealed in my opinion. Business as usual

I wonder at what ratio...

I believe mgt was supposed to submit a contract to our ALPA negotiators
this past week. Seems like we usually get an email from our union
on Friday night about the talks. Nothing in my inbox. I will take that
as either we are close to reaching what is acceptable OR we are so far
apart that its just not wise to p**s us all off when we have a garage full
of 4th of July fireworks and a fridge full of adult beverages???
Enjoy the Weekend.

I am inclined to believe that it is the "we are closer to acceptable" scenario since the union and the company haven't really been at war with each other (from what we are seeing) during this negotiations.

Happy beer and explosives weekend folks!

I wouldn't wonder about anything he posts. Considering he's spent the last 3 months chicken little'ing the sky is falling about ADS-B, to get proved wrong. The value of this thread is much higher when you put old school, the sky is falling types on ignore.

They both want the same thing but they're just arguing over numbers. Every negotiation I've ever been in I would call that a template for some kind of success.

Its about as useless as crew scheduling during a IROP. To their credit though....that job must suck having to listen to us cry 😭.

Default 9E Duty Manager

Every time the NY airspace takes a load on itself, I see in the 9E duty manager's emails that there is 'open segments.' Specifically, today's email indicated 4 segments for today(7/1), and 22 segments for tomorrow(7/2).

Is this traditional "open time?" Why isn't it indicated on FLICA?
