From the Fleet Manager update in regards to ads-b mod:
July marks the beginning of updating
our fleets with ADS-B Out
capabilities, which will be mandated
in the year 2020. We will be
simultaneously installing the system
of both fleets over the next few
years. There are two different
modifications being used. The PQ
900’s will have a system fully
integrated with EICAS, and the other
mod will be on all other planes that
will have an ADS-B FAIL
Annunciation light under the standby
instruments. When this is installed in
the airplanes crews will be required to enter the flight id (FLT ID) in the RTU using the format EDV1111. Refer to CFM Normal and Supplemental procedures for more information.

ads-b / fleet changes
from Tech Ops.. they have just finalized the last contract with Rockwell Collins for the ads-b mods.. it has been confirmed by upper management that they are going to start the mod on both fleets.. we were told don't be surprised if we stop on the 200 fleet after just a few... as there may be news on fleet types changing in late july/early august.. we were told the reason the remaining 200s scheduled to come from EV this year were "put on hold" because dual class may be coming instead.
The new hire class picture posted as always. They made sure to take photos of a recent CA upgrade class but those photos seems to be missing. Hmmm, could it be a violation of security protocol....?
