Problem is they haven't been sending any new hires to JFK. If they are, it's been a nominal amount. Kinda sucks :/ hopefully the new hire wave swings back to JFK.

Oh, I can vote. Also this is not my first regional. This place is good and provides plenty of opertunity for me and anyone else who comes over. There certainly are a plethora of airlines that offer less pay and more misery.

Default DTW and MSP Flying

Question asked to RG and JD last night at the hangar bbq & a .... Can you elaborate on the rumor of a significant drop off in DTW and/or MSP flying after the summer, not just the normal after summer drop off, but a year over year significant reduction??.... answer..... "there are discussions, but it is all still in flux".... and also... the remainder of the EV 200s are on hold... now may turn into 700s/900s... "also still in flux".

Is it that difficult to figure out they are trying to figure out a way for us to man all the EV birds. It's not that difficult to connect the dots. If we can continue to staff DTW/MSP flying while taking over all the EV flying in ATL we will, otherwise DTW/MSP shrink because we are getting the ATL stuff.

Remember, this is from the same guy who posted we were going to HNL with 200s... Until it's announced that they aren't coming, it means nothing. Additionally, if it's announced they're not coming, things aren't going be well here...

Drop a 20% reduction in flying in DTW and MSP and see how not difficult things get

Don't worry the contract will pass. Most of us want to continue our
careers past 9e. Sorry it didn't work out for you but don't take it out
on the rest of us that want to make 60-110k while waiting for our next/final job.

the HNL thing was some levity because you guys had been arguing about hats for 2 days.. the remarks from the bbq & a last night... are direct quotes.. they will be in the dtw crew room today... ask them yourself.. as someone who has been here for over 20 years.... I don't joke about possible layoffs/displacements... that schzit is sacred territory

Let's hope we don't man their birds. They have families. Stop this whipsaw bullsh!t please. If there was ever a time for ALPA to step up and end this regional shuffle disaster..now is the time.
